This is a project about using the web as an interactive tool to study. There is a theme for this project namely, oscillations. Yes, this is a physics project, but its underlying ideas could be used in any other area. The project was founded as a FDA grant by Columbia College Chicago.
Before we start few words about what is inside:
The starting page is an active image. It has "hot" spots, i.e.
active regions that are linked to different parts of the project.Feel
free to explore all the hot spots! There are three distinctive zones:
| a) Learning zone. These are Maple generated worksheets, containing the theory and the examples related to our subject. | |
| b) Testing zone. These are HTML documents written in Java-script, containing a quiz. The answers are instantaneously corrected, and a general score is computed. | |
| c) Feedback zone. Here the reader is encouraged to send his comments about the page. |
