Campaign Slogan Art

Use the graphics on this page to add a social studies message to your letters, flyers or press releases.

There are three different file formats available for this slogan art. Please pick the one below that's best suited to the way you'll be using the slogan:

In GIF format
Use this file for use on a website. Don't use this file for printing.

  • Mac OS users: click and hold on the image above. When the menu appears, choose to save the image to your computer's hard disk.
  • Windows users: right-click on theWindows users: right-click on the image above. When the menu appears, choose to save the image to your computer's hard disk.
  • You may use this image on your web pages without any further permission. Please link this image to http://www.socialstudies.org.

In TIFF format
Use this file for documents that you will print on a laser or ink-jet printer.

  • Mac OS users: click here and save the file to your computer's hard disk.
  • Windows users: click here and save the file to your computer's hard disk.
  • You may use this image without any further permission. The file is a 600 dpi black and white TIFF.
  • You can use this file in most home and office word processing or page layout programs. Generally, you should use the "Import graphic" command to access it and place it in your document.

In Encapsulated PostScript format
Use this file for high-resolution Postscript laser printers or publications that you send to a professional printer.

  • Mac OS users: click here and save the file to your computer's hard disk.
  • Windows users: click here and save the file to your computer's hard disk.
  • You may use this image without any further permission. The file is a black and white EPS.
  • You can use this file in most professional word processing or page layout programs. Generally, you should use the "Import graphic" command to access it and place it in your document.

Screen Savers

"Today's Social Studies... Creating Effective Citizens"
For Macintosh PowerPC/G3/iMac/iBook/G4: download [228K, file: SocialStudiesScreenSaver.sit]
After downloading, use a utility such as Stuffit Expander to decompress the file. Then drop the "Today's Social Studies" control panel onto your System Folder (it will automatically be placed in your control panels folder). Restart your Mac to activate the screen saver.

For Windows computers: download [141K]
After downloading, use a utility such as WinZIP to decompress the file. Then, run the STDS.EXE program, which will install the screen saver.
