Help Mei
My performance
partner, Nyok-Mei Wong (best know as Mei), has gotten in some serious
financial trouble due to a rather complicated immigration related case.
On February 15, 2007, when Mei went to check on the status of her Green
Card, she learned that it had been rejected in 2003. Surprisingly enough
she had never received a rejection letter and had been able to renew
her work permit every year without any problems. However, on this day
Mei was detained by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
