Graphic Designer/production artist for a full-time position. Mixmaster is located at 233 n Michigan ave. They deal with a handful of fortune 500 companies that hire them to work their events and they in-turn produce event passes, signage and other materials for them.

Here are few requirements :
Must have BA/BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent
Must know Adobe CS3 Suite software (Intermediate to Advanced: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign; Basic to Intermediate: Flash)
Must know MS Office Suite (Basic to Intermediate)
Multi-task – must be able to handle multiple projects in timely manner
Good communication skills – Internally (working with Account Team and more), and
Externally (handling Vender relations).

 

The Science and Math Learning Center

A Campus Resource: The Science and Math Learning Center is located in the 623 S. Wabash Bldg. room 511 – phone 312-369-7730. Walk – in tutoring is available both for individuals and groups. We are open between 9 am to 7 pm, on Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm on Friday and 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday. Some additional resources available are tutoring schedules, Sci/Math CD-ROM's, workshops, textbooks, computers and science and math student events. AutoManic, Columbia’s Student Store


AutoManic, Columbia’s student store, wants to sell your students’ artwork.AutoManic, opening this fall, is currently gathering a wide spectrum ofstudent artwork and artistic services to consign to the store. AutoManic
will feature a curated collection of Columbia student talent includingpaintings, drawings, prints, jewelry, sculpture, photography, paper arts,silk screens, fashion, design, music, film, creative writing, graphic novels
and anything else Columbia students create. Coming phases of the storeinclude an online student services database where the public can search fordesigners, photographers and musicians, and an online art store which willfeature the full AutoManic collection.AutoManic sells the work of students who are currently enrolled as well as the work of the class of 2008. All sales are on a consignment basis with a competitive 25% commission charged.

All work sold in the AutoManic will be juried by a Curatorial Committee comprised of Columbia students, staff and faculty. The committee will beginreviewing work August 1, 2008.
